Conversation Description
Seen & Heard is an intimate storytelling experience built around a simple idea: a strong story makes the audience reflect, sparks curiosity, invites conversation, and has the potential to change you beyond the last word.
Led by Thomas Laymon, the evening invites you beyond the role of spectator and step into an active participant before, during, and after each story you hear. We ask that you notice what a story reveals, what it leaves unsaid, what it stirs in you, and what becomes possible when we give another person's experience our full attention.
You'll be given a simple guideline for how to participate, helping you engage with each story more intentionally. It's storytelling as a practice in curiosity, empathy, and human connection, where the people listening matter just as much as the person speaking.
You won't just leave remembering the stories. You may leave with a deeper connection to yourself, a stronger empathy for other people, and thinking differently about how you listen to the people in your own life.
